A graphic designer by trade, Jacky’s career took off when she won a t-shirt design contest for Obey Clothing in 2008. Her design was sold in various retail stores across the US, igniting her career in the apparel graphics world. Since going vegan in 2012, she combined her passion for the lifestyle, industry knowledge and design skills to start BEETxBEET in 2014 after moving from her hometown of Atlanta, GA to Los Angeles, CA.
The brand is influenced by her love of food, music, streetart and streetwear fashion. Jacky has created collaborations with animal rights group Mercy For Animals and donates a portion of proceeds from the line to animal rights and social justice organizations. In 2018, BEETxBEET was voted Best Fashion Label in Veg News Magazine's Veggie Awards. Currently, Jacky focuses on running BEETxBEET and DJing for fun.
