Traveling as a vegan is getting easier these days. I recently went to Maui on vacation and documented some spots along the way that had some crazy delicious cruelty-free faire. What also won me over was all of the Anti-GMO and Anti-Monsanto propaganda found all over the Island.

La'a Kea Farm Stand
We got to meet the lovely Andrea who is one of the founding members of La'a Kea Farm Stand which provides meaningful and productive work opportunities for youth and adults with Autism and developmental disabilities in an agricultural setting. It was great to discuss organic farming withAndrea and hear how important to her it is and the farm. We also learned Andrea recently went vegan as well! Thank you to La' a Kea for not only staying true to natural farming practices but also providing jobs for those with Autism and disabilities. We think what you are doing is so inspiring and meaningful. If you are ever in the area please stop by the farm stand and support the efforts of this wonderful organization.
